By adjusting the confirmation page settings in Formidable Forms, you can customize the message users receive or where in your site users are sent after they have submitted a form.
- From your site’s dashboard, go to Formidable > Forms.
- Hover over the form you wish to edit and click on Settings.
- Click General in the form menu on the left.
- After submitting the form, site visitors may receive a confirmation in a number of ways. You can edit these settings under On Submit, at the top of the page:
- If you would like a confirmation message to appear on the same screen immediately after the visitor submits the form, select Show Message from the On Submit dropdown. Enter your confirmation message in the text box under Messages > On Submit.
- To send users to a different page, select Show Page Content from the On Submit dropdown. Select from a list of published pages under the Use Content from Page dropdown.
- Rather than an on-page confirmation page, you can also redirect site visitors to an external URL as soon as they submit the form. This can be useful if they need to pay a registration fee or reserve materials from a vendor after submitting the form. From the dropdown under On Submit, select Redirect to URL and enter the full URL into the field.
- (Optional) Personalize your confirmation message using form responses from users (e.g., name). Insert form responses by clicking on the desired field’s name in the Fields tab in the right panel.
- When you are done editing your confirmation, click Update.
