Achilefu's research focuses on the design, development and biochemical evaluation of molecular imaging agents and drugs in cells and living organisms. He has earned national recognition for his work to use light to activate drugs and the immune system in the body.

Clark is a leading expert on legal ethics and serves on the D.C. Bar Rules of Professional Conduct Review Committee. She also teaches and writes about ethics standards for current and former government officials and government contractors as well as the law of whistleblowing.  Her extensive academic work on government ethics and corruption has been cited in hundreds of books and articles.

Hansman is a Gephardt Institute fellow and an associate professor in the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts. He leads community studies and mentorship programs and provides guest lectures and "divided city" tours of St. Louis. His work as director of City Faces and the Jermaine Lamond Roberts Memorial Art Studio in the Clinton-Peabody Housing Project has garnered national attention and awards.
