The most flexible post type available in the WashU Web Theme, Items can be used for lists of publications, organizations, research projects, services and much more.

Items function similarly to People and Places, but the fields are general to accommodate a broad range of content needs. Defining characteristics include categories and filters, as well as the option to link to detail pages.

You can display a group of Items in list view (shown below) or grid view. Filters are optional. Alternatively, you can embed a single item on a page.
