Placing a video on a page is as simple as copying and pasting a link.
The preferred method for including a video on your website is to upload/host it on the appropriate YouTube channel, then add it to your site using the YouTube link.
Unlike images, which are uploaded to your site’s Media Library, videos are added using links or code, if necessary.
Uploading a video file to your site directly can lead to hosting, loading and performance issues.

Find the embed code
If site’s video has an embed code, it will typically be indicated by one of these symbols:
Copy the code
Copy the code. It will begin with iframe.
Paste the code
- Go to the page where you want to include the video
- In the top right corner of the content editor, click on the Text tab
- Paste the code where you want the video to appear
- Switch back to the Visual tab; you should see the video
